Creating dynamic learning environments; the impact of agile spaces

What are agile spaces?

A space or working area that allows you to be flexible while you work.

Many people have learned just how much a change in space, some flexibility and change of scenery can impact a learner’s ability to learn and be creative and not only does it improve the learners’ ability to learn but also assists teachers with the impact of their teaching.

It stimulates an interest and curiosity, whereas a standardised working environment gets boring and dull.

Foster discussions and develop 21st century skills in learners through a ‘camp fire’ configuration, then switch to ‘watering hole’ as a teaching tool. Some students require time to decompress – give them this space in the ‘cave’ configuration until they are ready to re-join the class.

Change your space… Give it a try, see if you like it and if it works for you.
